Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 3. Sezonunun Çıkış Tarihi Onaylandı
Activision has officially confirmed that Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Season 3 will launch on Thursday, April 2, bringing a fresh wave of content to both the main game and its free-to-play counterpart, Call of Duty: Warzone.
While full details about the upcoming season have yet to be revealed, Activision has shared a first teaser image, giving fans an early look at what appears to be a new operator skin likely tied to the Season 3 Battle Pass.
More Content on the Way
The announcement comes shortly after the release of Season 2, which delivered a substantial update packed with new and remastered multiplayer maps, additional weapons, game modes, cosmetics, and a new Battle Pass. Warzone players also received a revamped version of Rebirth Island along with new gameplay features and modes.
With many players already finishing their Season 2 Battle Passes and exploring the latest content, Season 3 aims to keep the momentum going with even more additions.
What to Expect from Season 3
Although Activision has yet to reveal a full roadmap, more details are expected soon. A developer blog post outlining upcoming features will likely be released later this week.
In the meantime, hints from the Call of Duty community team suggest that Season 3 will introduce something new rather than simply bringing back familiar modes. Responding to speculation about the return of Modern Warfare 3’s “Get High” mode, the team confirmed that Treyarch is working on a different experience focused on movement mechanics.
This new mode is expected to arrive later in the season, likely as part of the mid-season update.
Season 2 Reloaded and Community Reaction
Ahead of Season 3, Activision recently launched the Season 2 Reloaded update, which added even more content to Black Ops 7 and Warzone. Highlights included additional maps — including remastered locations from Black Ops 2 — and the return of Blackout, the franchise’s original battle royale mode.
Now reintroduced as Black Ops Royale, the mode brings back fan-favorite features such as wingsuits, the absence of a gulag, and no loadouts.
However, not all changes have been well received. Raven Software confirmed that bots would be introduced into Black Ops Royale lobbies in select regions, including Europe and the Middle East, as part of a new test. The decision sparked backlash from players, many of whom are concerned that bots could eventually be implemented in other regions as well.
With Season 3 just around the corner, fans can expect more details soon as Activision prepares to roll out its next major update.
