Romanian CS2 player Laurențiu "lauNX" Țârlea is looking for a new organization ahead of the off-season, sources with knowledge of the situation told HLTV. The FUT rifler has asked the organization for permission to pursue other opportunities, with those same sources stressing that the decision predates the team's campaign at IEM Cologne Major 2026 and is in no way connected to their results there.

FUT were eliminated from the Major in 9th–11th place after a loss to BetBoom in the final round of Stage 3. Over the course of the event, the team defeated B8 and MOUZ but fell to Vitality and G2, finishing with $20,000 in prize money.

In the immediate aftermath of the elimination, lauNX himself hinted that uncertainty lay ahead.

"Many things can happen, especially when the big guys are coming with crazy offers," he told HLTV. "I have no comment because then if I say something and then the opposite happens, I might get backlash for it, so I don't wanna say anything."

The 21-year-old joined FUT in August 2025 as a replacement for Kévin "misutaaa" Rabier, arriving from Nexus. What followed was a rapid rise through the tier-1 rankings. In the ten months since lauNX came on board, FUT climbed the Valve Regional Standings at a pace few teams had managed, establishing themselves as a consistent presence among the world's best sides.

The team's trophy cabinet reflects that trajectory. In April 2026, FUT lifted their most significant title to date at PGL Bucharest 2026. They also won Exort The Proving Grounds Season 4 and Galaxy Battle 2025 Phase 5, while reaching 4th place at ESL Pro League Season 23 — results that cemented their status as a genuine tier-1 outfit rather than a one-off story.

lauNX was a steady contributor throughout. Across 214 maps with the organization, he posted a 1.10 rating, 75.5 ADR, and 73.2% KAST — numbers that reflect consistency rather than flash, a reliable piece in a system that punched above its weight on virtually every stage it entered.

His potential departure would represent a significant loss. While lauNX was not always FUT's highest-profile player, his role as a stable, reliable rifler gave the team's core the freedom to operate. The NAVI Junior-based group of dem0n, Krabeni, cmtry, and dziugss built much of their identity around aggressive, structured play, and lauNX fit that mold from day one.

No specific organizations have been linked to the player at this stage, and the situation remains at the rumor level. What is clear is that after ten months of sustained growth, FUT's roster appears to be at a crossroads — and lauNX seems unwilling to wait and see how it resolves itself.
