GTA VI sızıntısını yapan kişi, Rockstar'ın büyük duyurusundan hemen önce kendi memecoin'ini yaktı.
Nine days of stolen GTA VI footage. One anonymous account. And a memecoin that pulled in more money than most people see in years — right up until its own creator dumped it on everyone still holding.
Whoever's behind the "Cyberleek" persona spent over a week leaking unreleased Grand Theft Auto VI gameplay, stamping every clip with a QR code for a Solana token called $CYBERLEEK and a tagline that told you exactly what game was being played: "higher market cap = more leeks." Buy the coin, get more leaks. Grim, but it worked — $CYBERLEEK ran from nothing to a $25 million market cap by August 23.
Then, hours before Rockstar's official gameplay reveal hit Netflix on Thursday, the wallet behind the token claimed roughly $146,000 in wrapped SOL plus 15.4 million tokens in creator fees — and sold the entire stack in a single transaction for about $125,000 more in SOL. GTAForums investigator "Vice Cit," who's been tracking the wallets since August 20, puts the full exit closer to $250,000 spread across four transfers, with at least 91 SOL routed straight to KuCoin. Dexerto has the breakdown.
$CYBERLEEK did what you'd expect. Down about 46% in 24 hours, market cap sliced from $25 million to roughly $7 million, even with daily volume still sitting at a wild $13–18 million. Somewhere between 68,000 and 78,000 wallets are now holding a coin that peaked at $0.0344 and trades near $0.0097. That's a lot of people who bought "the cause" and got left with the bag.

Here's the part that stings: Cyberleek's own manifesto — the so-called "CYBERLEEK Edict" — swore this wasn't a cash grab. No digital preorders, no fake single-player DLC, no games dying when servers shut off, that sort of thing. The original creator allocation was even burned last week, which a lot of people took as a good-faith signal. KifflomGames posted about the burn here. Except the money that just left wasn't from that allocation at all — it came from trading fees generated by nine days of engineered hype. Technically true to the letter of the promise. Practically, exactly what it looks like.
Rockstar finally addressed the leaks directly, calling the whole thing "heartbreaking for the team". Take-Two, meanwhile, isn't stopping at statements — it's subpoenaed X, Microsoft, and Discord trying to unmask whoever's running the account, and onchain sleuths have already traced the funding trail back to a KYC-verified KuCoin account. Not exactly the anonymity you'd want when an $8 billion publisher's legal team is circling.
Nobody's even confirmed who Cyberleek actually is. Several accounts claiming to be the leaker have already been called out as fakes — the leaker's own watermark reportedly says Cyberleek doesn't run a Twitter account at all.
Strip away the manifesto and the anti-corporate branding, and it's a familiar shape: hype a scarce, high-attention leak, wrap it in a story people want to believe, cash out before the attention fades. The protest didn't fund anything. It funded an exit.
