Dota 2 Players Warn of New Scam Targeting User Accounts

This scam has been highlighted on Reddit, where users have shared details of the scheme. According to one user, the scam begins with scammers building trust by discussing a player's in-game statistics. Eventually, they invite the player to join a team as a substitute, directing them to log in on a suspicious website to register.
Commenters noted that this approach is indeed a new tactic, with scammers now using statistical websites to track potential victims and gain their trust. Some users also pointed out that a similar method was previously used to steal accounts in CS2. Players are urged not to fall for these scams and to report any suspicious activity immediately.
