Blizzard transitions away from Battle.net

The first Diablo game introduced Battle.net brand to the world. Today this is one of the most famous names in the gaming world. Every Blizzard fan knows Battle.net brand and uses its services. However, Blizzard decides to transit away from it.

The functions and services remain the same. The only change that occurs is the change of the name from Battle.net to[Blizzard XXX]. Blizzard representatives inform that the process of renaming has already started. New Blizzard Streaming and Blizzard Voice services support that the changes are going to happen quickly.

The official reason for renaming is misunderstanding and confusing situations with using the same name for various games and services. In several months, Battle.net game will become only a page in the history of world gambling.
