The launch of FIFA 23 became the biggest in the history of the series and has already surpassed the sales of FIFA 22

The corporation EA (Electronic Arts) has released its financial report for the last year ending on March 31, 2023. The revenue grew by 6% and reached over $7.4 billion. Services and other revenue streams generated $5.49 billion, which is a 10% increase, while revenue from games decreased by 3% to $1.94 billion.

The net income increased by 2% and amounted to $802 million. EA also reported on its financial results for the fourth quarter of the year, with revenue of $1.87 billion, a 3% increase. During this period, $372 million was spent on games, a 15% increase, and $1.95 billion on services, an 11% increase. The company's success over the year was largely due to the high sales of FIFA, as FIFA 23 outsold the total sales of FIFA 22 in six months and had the most successful launch in franchise history. Interest in FIFA 23 among players continued into the fourth quarter.
