Fortnite x Disney’s Cars: New Leaks Reveal Epic Racing Crossover and Iconic Tracks Coming Soon!
A new collaboration between Fortnite and Disney's Cars may be on the way, according to recent leaks. Fortnite has hosted numerous crossovers with various franchises, most of which have focused on Battle Royale. However, as the game expands into a broader experience with multiple game modes, these collaborations could soon extend to other areas within the game. This would allow players to explore new features and keep their interest fresh, switching between modes when one begins to feel repetitive.
Fortnite has been increasingly ramping up its collaborations, with its ongoing partnership with Disney playing a key role in recent additions. The most recent example is the inclusion of several Disney villains in the 2024 Fortnitemares event. With Disney’s vast media catalog, there’s plenty to choose from, and the upcoming Cars crossover might introduce new experiences beyond just Battle Royale.
Leaker @SamsLeakss revealed on social media that a collaboration between Fortnite and Disney-Pixar’s Cars is expected soon. According to @SamsLeakss, this potential crossover is one of the most highly anticipated, with many players asking about it. Although this event may feature Battle Royale skins, it's likely that Fortnite will also add new features to its vehicle roster, especially considering a recently rumored Porsche collaboration. If accurate, these additions could leverage the newer Rocket Racing mode, offering a fresh appeal to players.
@SamsLeakss also mentioned that four racing maps, called "Thunder," are planned as part of the event, with locations like Radiator Springs and Willys Butte rumored to be playable. Adding Cars to Fortnite would make a lot of sense for Epic Games, especially since Lightning McQueen made his way into Rocket League back in 2023. This collaboration could also maintain player interest in Rocket Racing, even as the mode may not receive further themed updates.
The current list of available car bodies in Rocket Racing may feel limited to players accustomed to the 800+ vehicles in games like Forza Horizon 5 or those who enjoy the extensive character skins available in other Fortnite modes. Adding Cars characters could breathe new life into this part of the game, attracting more players to one of Fortnite’s newer gameplay experiences.
