Plarium Raises 860,000 UAH for Superhumans Center Through Charity Run
The gaming company Plarium joined forces with the prosthetics and rehabilitation center Superhumans, which supports war victims, to organize a charity run. Over the course of a week, Plarium employees participated in runs, with the company converting their covered kilometers into donations. This initiative raised a total of 860,000 UAH for the center.
During the week, employees set a record for their running club by covering 3,675 kilometers. One participant even ran 111 kilometers in just seven days, inspiring the entire team, according to Plarium representative Oleksandr Piddubnyi.
The donated funds enabled the Superhumans center to create a prosthetic limb for Ukrainian soldier Artem Toroni, who lost his leg while serving on the Avdiivka frontline. Before being discharged from the center, Artem shared his story with Plarium, expressing gratitude and discussing his aspirations for the future.
Plarium expressed their joy at helping Artem complete his rehabilitation and take steps toward achieving his dreams. The company plans to continue collaborating with the Superhumans center to ensure that more Ukrainian heroes receive the assistance they need to return to normal life.
