Resident Evil Requiem'de Grace Ashcroft'un Zayıflığı Ortaya Çıktı

Resident Evil Requiem will introduce a brand new character to the franchise in a starring role - Grace Ashcroft. We don't know much about the character except she's is a technical analysist for FBI and daughter of forgotten character Alyssa Ashcroft from less familiar franchise entry, Resident Evil Outbreak.

It will be interesting to explore Grace's story and how she is different from the other familiar titular heroes. Recently, Requiem's producer Masato Kumazawa spoke to CheckpointGamer where he described some qualities of Grace. Producer claims Grace is more "emotionally vulnerable" that some iconic Resident Evil characters and she has one weakness - being so fearful. He added they decided to make Grace such fearful person to "reinforce the horror aspect of the title". More of his words you can see below:

"I was looking from the point of scaring the players. I believe that because she is the most scared or easily prone to being scared protagonist in the series, I just want the players to be scared with her and to enjoy the atmosphere with her. She's ordinary person, yes. But keep in mind that she is FBI analyst, so she is used to guns. When you compare to other characters like Chris and Leon, they're not like 'Oh, we get a gun and we start shooting everything', or we get to close combat and have no problem. When you're looking into ordinary, the protagonist from the last game, Ethan, I think, let's just say he's the most ordinary in terms of just saying normal, but it's just that she's just a little bit more used to guns than him. That's about it'

It seems like with Resident Evil Requiem, Capcom decided to bring the franchise into their roots and make one of the scariest Resident Evil game ever. Considering that we have seen in the trailers, it could be the scariest Resident Evil game ever, but we will find out when the game releases next year.

Resident Evil Requiem is set to release on February 27, 2026 for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
