Death Stranding 2: On the Beach has been one of the best games of 2025. Though not all players like the creations of Hideo Kojima, the sequel of 2019’s title is actually a proper sequel, having an intriguing story, insanely beautiful world, great soundtrack and trying to fix almost all the things the first game did, especially, when it comes to boss fights, empty open world and mission’s sameness.

Of course, the game is not perfect at all, but, according to the players, it deserved at least some awards at latest TGA 2025 ceremony. Some of them are really still obsessed with this, and they’ve found a way to get some revenge.

As we remember, Geoff Keighley, the host of The Game Awards, appears in Death Stranding video game as a hologram—and the gamers actively showing on X social media literally use Norman Reedus’ character, Sam Porter Bridges, to… pee right in front of him.

That is a kind of weird response from Death Stranding fans, and some of X users replied it’s not depending on Geoff Keighley and “it’s just an award.” Still, almost a month since The Game Awards 2025, some fans are still obsessed that Death Stranding 2: On the Beach didn’t get any award during the show.
