ARC Raiders Expedition 3 Çıkış Tarihi, Yeni Harita ve Büyük ARC Onaylandı

Embark Studios is releasing Riven Tides for ARC Raiders on April 28, 2026, delivering a new coastal map, a new large ARC enemy, a new map condition, and a reworked Expedition system.

Embark revealed that Expedition 3 would drop its Coin/Stash value requirement entirely and replace it with a damage-based challenge. Players had little notice before the window was set to open, and the community responded sharply — arguing that five days was not a fair or realistic window for everyone to log in and complete the requirements. Embark updated its blog post, extended the window by a full week, and published the specific damage thresholds that had been absent from the original announcement.

Arc Raiders Riven Tides Update: New Map, New Weather Condition, New Large Arc & More

Riven Tides is the fourth major update in ARC Raiders' 2026 roadmap, following Headwinds, Shrouded Sky, and Flashpoint. The update centers on a coastal location called Panorama Azzurro — a former resort and Exodus-era dockyard abandoned years before the game's events due to its vulnerability to seaside attacks and difficulty of western defense. A solo raider scout documents the location in Embark's official Scout Report, describing a hotel with a rooftop bar, swimming pool, and sun loungers alongside an industrial dockyard with cranes, stacked shipping containers, a sea wall, and clear signs of water damage across the lower areas.

Confirmed and expected content for the Riven Tides update includes:

  • New coastal map built around Panorama Azzurro resort and adjacent harbour
  • New large ARC enemy (name and category not yet confirmed)
  • New map condition, strongly suggested to involve flooding or rising water
  • Expedition 3 Window and full overhaul of Skill Point requirements
  • New "Last Call" feature for players who miss the sign-up window

The Scout Report details several points of interest across the map: Exodus Hotel, Beachfront, Pool, Harbour, Customs House, Stacking Yard, and Sea Wall. These are drawn from the scouting account rather than official map documentation, so the released layout may differ from what is described.

The new map condition has not been officially named, but the Scout Report references flooding at multiple points. It describes dead ships wrecked and half-buried in sand, shipping containers toppled and scattered along the coastline, and tides that have eaten into the dockyard over time. The harbour and sea wall on the southern portion of the map suggest rising water will alter traversal in the lower sections during certain conditions.

The new large ARC enemy has not been shown or named. The Scout Report's only reference is a shadow passing overhead — "Slow, deliberate" — before the raider loses sight of it. Based on the language used and Embark's prior classification of large ARC threats like the Queen and Matriarch, the new enemy is expected to be airborne or at least partially so, and comparable in scale.

Arc Raiders New Expedition Window

The Expedition 3 window opens April 28 at 11:00 UTC and closes May 11 at 07:00 UTC — a 13-day window, extended from five days after community feedback.

Full timing for Expedition 3:

  • Window opens: April 28, 2026 at 13:00 CEST/ 11:00 UTC/ 04:00 PT
  • Window closes: May 11, 2026 at 09:00 CEST/ 07:00 UTC/ 00:00 PT
  • Departure: May 11, 2026

Note: Completing your caravan does not count as signing up — players must explicitly register during the window to receive Skill Points.

What Is An Expedition in Arc Raiders?

What Is An Expedition in Arc Raiders?

An Expedition is a recurring, optional progression reset built into ARC Raiders on an approximately 60-day cycle.

Here’s the complete expeditions periods list in order:

No. 1
Oct 30 – Dec 16, 2025 (47 days)
Dec 17 – Dec 22, 2025 (6 days)
Dec 29, 2025
No. 2
Dec 22, 2025 – Feb 23, 2026 (63 days)
Feb 24 – Mar 1, 2026 (5 days)
Mar 2, 2026
No. 3
Mar 2 – Apr 28, 2026 (57 days)

Players who participate send their current Raider permanently beyond the Rust Belt, wiping character-level progress — inventory, blueprints, coins, skill points, player level, and stash contents — in exchange for permanent and temporary rewards that transfer to the next Raider. Account-level content, including cosmetics, achievements, Cred, and Raider Tokens, carries over regardless. The feature unlocks once a Raider reaches level 20, and players must build and fully load a caravan across six preparation stages before departure becomes available.

How To Do An Expedition in Arc Raiders?

ARC Raiders Expedition 3 Launch Date, New Map & Large ARC Confirmed 3

Caravan construction can begin between Expedition windows, but departure only happens during a scheduled window. The six stages — Foundation, Core Systems, Framework, Outfitting, Load Stage, and Departure — each require specific materials and coin values committed in sequence. Nothing contributed to an earlier stage can be retrieved once submitted.

The six steps to complete Expedition 3 are:

  • Complete the Caravan (can begin before the window opens)
  • Wait for the Expedition Window (April 28 to May 11)
  • Sign Up explicitly during the window
  • Complete the Damage Challenge to earn up to 5 Skill Points
  • Use the Catch Up mechanic for any Skill Points missed in previous Expeditions
  • Depart on May 11 at the window closing

For Expedition 3, the damage challenge applies to all players regardless of which Expedition number they are completing. Damage counts toward the total when dealt with any weapon or gadget against any valid target, excluding the practice range. The thresholds are 5,000 damage for 1 SP, 10,000 for 2 SP, 30,000 for 3 SP, 50,000 for 4 SP, and 100,000 for 5 SP.

"We have tested these thresholds internally and found that in a single, very good round, 8,000 - 10,000 damage was an achievable number."

— Embark Studios

I think 100,000 total damage — equivalent to destroying roughly 20 Bastions — is a realistic target across 13 days for any player committing a few sessions per week, which makes the extended window a meaningful concession from Embark rather than a cosmetic one. The Catch Up mechanic returns unchanged for players on their second or third Expedition who missed Skill Points in prior runs — up to five can be reclaimed at 300,000 Stash/Coin value per point, but only after the damage challenge is completed first. Players who finish the caravan but miss the sign-up window entirely will receive a final pop-up prompt on their next login, though no Skill Points are awarded through that path.

Permanent rewards for Expedition 3 include the evolved+ Patchwork Raider outfit with at least one additional toggle and new color options, a Scrappy Turban, 12 added stash spaces, and up to 5 Skill Points based on damage dealt. Temporary buffs for consecutive completions stack across three Expeditions: up to a 15% XP boost, 18% Scrappy materials boost, and 80% repair value increase. Missing a departure window resets those stacking buffs to zero.

Arc Raiders Player Count: Will a Mini-Revival Be Incoming?

ARC Raiders Expedition 3 Launch Date, New Map & Large ARC Confirmed 4

Riven Tides arrives at a point in ARC Raiders' lifecycle where the game has stabilized but still holds commercial weight that most extraction shooters lose well before the six-month mark. At launch in October 2025, the game crossed the 100,000 concurrent-player mark on Steam within hours, climbing to the top of Steam's global chart before North American players had opened their eyes. Its previous peak (416,517) concurrent players arrived in November, after streamer Shroud — 11.3 million followers on Twitch — publicly told his audience to mobilize for Game of the Year voting.

By January 2026, the game had reached 12.4 million copies sold within ten weeks, per Games Market. Embark marked the milestone by distributing a Gilded Pickaxe Raider Tool to all players who had logged in from launch through January 13. The game also hit 960,000 concurrent players across all platforms that month. SteamDB data shows a current peak, 481,966, set five months ago, indicating the active player base has settled rather than collapsed — a position most games in this genre fail to hold.

The question of an Arc Raiders TV show adaptation has not closed either. Embark CEO Patrick Soderlund confirmed during a GamesBeat interview that multiple Hollywood studios have approached the company about adapting the IP for film or television. No deal has been announced. Soderlund described the IP as fitting "quite well" for adaptation but said the decision needs to be made correctly before committing. Nothing is officially in development.

I guess Riven Tides is Embark's direct answer to what keeps a stabilized audience engaged — a new map with a coastal setting distinct from anything already in the game, an airborne large ARC with no precedent yet in the roster, and an Expedition system that now rewards time-in-raid over inventory accumulation. The 13-day window makes that accessible without demanding every session. Full patch notes have not yet been published by Embark ahead of the April 28 launch.
