Crimson Desert is arguably one of the best RPGs of 2026, especially after various patches released by Pearl Abyss studio, which have significantly improved gameplay, fixed major bugs, and added a host of new features. A new discovery made by players is significantly transforming the game—and what’s more, without the need for any mods or complicated workarounds.

As spotted by X social media user Ninjago9101, you can literally make Crimson Desert a game with an isometric camera, similar to Diablo or Baldur’s Gate. This really transforms the game, forcing players to see it from a different perspective. However, players have noted that there may be some issues with the combat system, since the gameplay is ultimately designed for a full third-person camera. Still, it’s interesting that players have found a way to make Crimson Desert even more advanced in terms of how it’s experienced.

To adjust the camera settings as shown in the video, go to the “Settings” section in the game and change the settings as follows:

• Camera Visual Range – 0
• Camera Distance – 100
• Camera Vertical Offset – 0
• Camera Horizontal Offset – 0
