Capcom, Pragmata'yı potansiyel yeni bir oyun serisi olarak değerlendiriyor.

Last month, Capcom released their first new IP since 2023: Pragmata, a sci-fi action title following the adventures of an android girl named Diane and an astronaut named Hugh as they attempt to escape an abandoned lunar research station. Following the February release of Resident Evil Requiem, the game became another successful project for the studio, garnering high praise from both players and critics alike.

Beyond receiving rave reviews and potential Game of the Year status, Pragmata sold 1 million copies within its first two days —a stellar result for Capcom, especially for a new IP. While specific financial figures remain undisclosed, it is expected that the game will continue to perform well. As Game File notes, during the iicon conference, Capcom USA COO Rob Dyer hinted that Pragmata could become a franchise, as you can check out below:

“We’re to a point now where we’ve got another IP that Capcom – and god bless them, has an arsenal – that we can continue to go down.”

Some gaming media named Pragmata as one of the best IPs in recent years, and the game is already worthy of a sequel. For now, there has been no official announcement regarding a sequel from Capcom, but following the game's strong performance, the chances are definitely increasing.

Pragmata is the latest Capcom installment, a sci-fi action-adventure game set in a near-future dystopian world on a lunar research station. You play as an android named Diana and an astronaut named Hugh, and together they must find a way out of this lunar station. Diana has the ability to hack the enemy’s security system, while Hugh is a specialist in firearms and has a jetpack.
