Asya'da Geçen ve Ready or Not'tan İlham Alan Yeni Ghost Recon Oyununun Detayları Açıklandı

We know that Ubisoft is currently developing a few video games, which are at different stages of development, and most of them, in one way or another, do not have a release date. Moreover, some of their projects are not even officially confirmed, although fans know that work on them is actively ongoing.

One of the confirmed games from the studio is the new installment of Ghost Recon, which has the codename Project Over. According to Tom Henderson, this is the game that Ubisoft plans to release after Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced, which is scheduled for release this summer (July 9) on PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5.

There are not many official details about the game, but Ubisoft insiders have shared new information about Project Over. In particular, the well-known leaker Rogue revealed that the new Ghost Recon game will be set in Asia and inspired by Ready or Not video game, with a focus on squad features. He also mentions the UI in the game will be much more limited than in previous installments in order to make stealth with the environment more realistic.

Another Ubisoft scooper, xj0nathan, also shared some information about the new Ghost Recon title, though he clarified it might be a bit old. Specifically, players will be able to select preferable characters for missions in their own base and level them up with different quests so that they become more effective. Insider also revealed that Ubisoft considered bringing a permadeath system to the game, similar to Hunt: Showdown, but claims it could now be cut because players who took part in the game’s earlier testing didn’t enjoy it.

The release date for the new Ghost Recon video game is still unknown; however, if we believe Tom Henderson's report about Project Over, it will release after Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced, and it might potentially happen at the end of 2026 or in the first half of 2027. Speaking of other releases, the abovementioned insider Rogue recently revealed that Far Cry 7 and Assassin’s Creed Codename Hexe could also be released in 2027.
