Minecraft, Yeni Benekli Orman Biyomunu ve Film Devam Filminin Adını Açıkladı

Minecraft is getting another major content drop in 2026, and Mojang has now revealed the first details during the latest Minecraft Live broadcast at TwitchCon Europe. The next update will introduce a brand-new biome called the Dappled Forest, while the presentation also confirmed the official title of the second Minecraft movie.

The new game drop is expected to launch sometime in Q3 2026.

Dappled Forest Biome Announced

The newly revealed Dappled Forest biome brings a warm, rustic visual style to Minecraft. Mojang showcased an environment filled with orange and brown tones, giving the area an autumn-like atmosphere.

The biome will include:

• New poplar trees
• Brown-and-orange foliage
• Red shrubs
• Possible abandoned camp-style structures hidden among the trees

The addition expands Minecraft’s already large selection of forest biomes, joining familiar areas such as Oak Forests, Birch Forests, Jungles, Taigas, Bamboo Jungles, and Pale Gardens.

Minecraft Movie Sequel Gets Official Title

Alongside the game update reveal, Mojang and Warner Bros. also shared new details about the upcoming Minecraft movie sequel.

The second film is officially titled A Minecraft Movie: Squared and is currently scheduled to premiere in theaters on July 23, 2027.

Kirsten Dunst has already been confirmed to play Alex, while the original cast is expected to return. Jared Hess will also return as director, with Hess and Chris Galletta involved in writing the screenplay.

More Minecraft Content Coming in 2026

The Dappled Forest will arrive as Minecraft’s third game drop of the year. Earlier in 2026, Mojang released the Tiny Takeover update, while the upcoming Chaos Cubed update is set to introduce the Sulfur Caves biome, new blocks, and the Sulfur Cube mob.

The third game drop is also confirmed to add wool stairs, while rumors suggest it may include a new type of bed that does not reset a player’s spawn point.

Mojang is also expected to release one more game drop later in 2026, although details about the fourth update have not yet been revealed.
