Today, on August 16, in the capital of Ukraine - Kyiv, a thematic grocery store will be opened under the style of "STALKER", with the participation of "Silpo" and GSC Game World

Representatives of the Silpo supermarket chain, which owns the store, showed a short video announcing the future project. According to the organizers, the developers of the world-famous franchise about the Exclusion Zone - GSC Game World, themselves helped develop the design and scenery.

For us, the podia and its own symbol of the life of Ukrainians is important, and the concept of the design is about it. I started all the work on the supermarket's notices about it. Thoughts about this creation, appearing in the past rock - we shot the names of the GSC Game World one-thinkers, with which the spivtvorchnosti developed the design

Recall that after the invasion of the Russian Federation into Ukraine, representatives of GSC banned the sale of their products on the territory of the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation, and the upcoming STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl will be released without Russian localization.

This is not the first game-style project for Silpo; in November 2020, a Grand Theft Auto-themed supermarket was opened in Lviv.

The company owns more than 100 themed supermarkets and 4 separate delicatessen shops "Le Silpo". Of particular note is the fact that the interesting design of supermarkets has found recognition in Europe.

The professional retail magazine European Supermarket Magazine (ESM) lists Europe's Finest Store every year. The publication selects the most impressive innovative design concepts for stores opened or renovated in the European retail market.

In 2022, the editors of ESM selected 32 best stores from 15 European countries, where three Ukrainian stores were included. The supermarket chain has been included in the annual list for the 6th time in a row since 2017.

In addition, in 2020, ESM published an article entitled “Why Silpo is one of the most creative retailers in Europe”.

Supermarket representatives noted that the store will be free of anomalies and mutants, and some decorations will be finished after the end of the war. Residents and guests of Kyiv will be able to enjoy the stalker surroundings today, after 12:00 noon.
