GameSquare and Dairy MAX Launch New Fortnite Farm Tycoon Map in Continued Esports Partnership
Esports holding GameSquare has teamed up with dairy advocacy group Dairy MAX to launch a new world-building map campaign within Fortnite’s Farm Tycoon, underlining the expansion of their ongoing collaboration.
This campaign builds on a fruitful relationship between GameSquare and Dairy MAX, which previously involved Complexity Gaming and marketing agency ZONED Gaming in various gaming initiatives. High-profile Fortnite creators, including Maria ‘Chica’ Lopez, SanchoWest, and Preston ‘TBNRFrags’ Arsement, will help promote the new map across different platforms.
Developed by Moonlight Studios, a GameSquare subsidiary, Farm Tycoon immerses players in the role of a dairy farmer tasked with developing and managing a farm. The game involves real-life farming tasks like land acquisition and infrastructure upgrades to earn in-game currency.
The latest joint venture between Dairy MAX and GameSquare introduces players to a fresh map within Farm Tycoon, marking another milestone in their partnership. Their collaboration first began in March 2021, when Dairy MAX joined forces with Complexity Gaming. In July 2023, they launched the ‘Level Unlocked’ gaming campaign.
This new campaign announcement follows GameSquare’s 2023 financial report, which noted $52 million (~£41.5 million) in revenues against a net loss of $31 million (~£24.7 million).
Dairy MAX, established 40 years ago, supports over 900 dairy farmers and impacts communities across eight U.S. states. The organization has been actively engaging with the esports community, having previously partnered with OpTic Gaming in 2022 as its official nutrition partner.
