Dying Light: The Beast'e Işın İzleme Geliyor ve 1.4 Yaması Yayınlanıyor
Techland released Patch 1.4 for Dying Light: The Beast, delivering long-promised ray tracing support alongside New Game+ and an expanded end-game progression system. The update marks the game’s largest technical revision since launch, targeting navigation, performance, and visual consistency while introducing new features for players who want to revisit the campaign with added difficulty and progression depth.
Ray tracing now enhances reflections, lighting, and shadows across the game’s environments. The addition is aimed at high-end GPUs, as the new effects carry a notable performance cost. For players who stay on standard rendering, the update still modifies lighting and shadow behavior to correct improperly lit interiors, exteriors, and other visual inconsistencies.
Patch 1.4 is substantial in scope. Techland resolved more than 200 parkour and traversal problems, a longstanding source of player frustration. The fixes include adjustments to climbing detection, ledge-grab behavior, and blocked routes. Environmental assets such as monkey bars, beams, and scaffolding have been repositioned or corrected to support smoother movement chains. The studio also cleaned up zipline prompts and removed double-jump quirks that caused unexpected falls. Vault poles now include a clear interaction prompt and no longer trigger unintended double-jump behavior. A progression blocker in the High Noon quest has been removed with a correction to a specific rock formation.
Several gameplay systems received targeted revision. XP loss in Survival Mode has been reduced through a global rebalance, with attention paid to early-level penalties and Night modifiers. Early-game stamina has been reworked, granting players more stamina at the start without raising the total cap, which influences the pacing of initial combat encounters. A rare weapon has been added near the first campsite in the HUB1 quest. The Skill Menu now surfaces basic move sets more clearly. Reinforcement logic tied to noise-generated actions has been adjusted, reducing abrupt spikes when players chain firearm or explosive events. Vehicle challenge logic has been refined so that obstacles behave consistently when struck.

Co-op corrections address several long-running issues. A host-side black screen related to cancelled and restarted co-op challenges has been fixed. Convoy activities should no longer spawn directly in front of players. AI now exits the surrender state reliably, and the Banshee no longer floats after the biters holding her up are killed.
Performance and stability see broad gains across multiple systems. Techland reports more than 35 fixes tied to crashes, asserts, and frame pacing problems. Over 70 visual defects have been resolved, including texture misplacement, floating objects, clipping models, and architecture alignment errors. Lighting and shadow improvements extend across numerous locations, tightening visual consistency even without ray tracing enabled.
UI and audio also receive focused updates. A launch pop-up triggered by linked Epic and Steam accounts has been removed. More than a dozen localization discrepancies between voiceover and subtitles have been corrected. Quest markers have been updated to address missing or inaccurate indicators. Debug strings have been cleared from the live build, and several UI errors across menus have been fixed. More than 20 audio issues have been resolved, covering missing sound effects, incorrect collision audio, ambient inconsistencies, and co-op dialogue synchronization.
The update weighs 9GB on PC and downloads automatically through Steam. Techland continues to expand the title through iterative patches rather than sweeping seasonal overhauls, but Patch 1.4 marks a significant technical milestone with the arrival of ray tracing and a broad slate of systemic corrections.
