İçeriden bir kaynak, Tomb Raider: Catalyst'in tamamen açık dünya oyunu olacağını doğruladı.

Announced at The Game Awards 2025, Tomb Raider: Catalyst is the newest adventure of legendary Lara Croft, developed by Crystal Dynamics and set to release in 2027. The game will also be a sequel to 2008's forgotten Tomb Raider: Underworld.

Long before the announcement, insider V Scooper revealed plenty of new Tomb Raider video game details that seems to be true, after all. In his recent post on X social media, scooper reveals Tomb Raider: Catalyst is expected to be a fully open world game, unlike previous titles, like Tomb Raider (2013), Rise of the Tomb Raider, and Shadow of the Tomb Raider, as you can check below:

“This shot alone already suggests TOMB RAIDER CATALYST is fully open world

As I previously reported, snowy mountains, jungles, and deserts coexist. They’re all visible on the horizon, with landmarks. This reads as a single continuous map, not isolated regions

Tomb Raider: Catalyst is not the only Lara Croft game currently in development. Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis, the remake of the original 1996 Tomb Raider game, has been announced at The Game Awards 2025 as well and is expected to release this year on PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5. There is also a TV show in development for Amazon, with Sophie Turner in a starring role as Lara Croft.
