Not only because Max Caulfield and Chloe Price, the main characters of the original Life is Strange, are back together again but because it’s the end of their story.

Not only this, but Life is Strange: Reunion could be the end for the entire Life is Strange franchise, not just the story between Max and Chloe. Recently, Forbidden Planet has presented merchandise for the upcoming game, and you can see in the description it’s mentioned that Life is Strange: Reunion is “the final installment of Life is Strange.”

It might really suggest Life is Strange: Reunion will be the final title in a whole game series, which might be pretty real. Although, it can also be a grammatical mistake made by Forbidden Planet, as Deck Nine and Square Enix haven't confirmed Life is Strange: Reunion will be the last game in the franchise.

There are still ways to develop the Life is Strange game series without Max and Chloe. This universe is having more characters with superpowers, like Daniel from Life is Strange 2 and Alex Chen from Life is Strange: True Colors, and the developers may still expand the franchise with new stories.

Besides Life is Strange: Reunion, Amazon is working on a game series’ TV show. It will adapt the event of 2015’s Life is Strange original video game. Tatum Grace Hopkins is confirmed to play Max Caulfield, while Maisy Stella has been cast as her bestie, Chloe Price. Karyn Kusama is confirmed to direct the first two episodes, and the start of production and release date for the show remain unknown.
