Oyuncular Resident Evil Code: Veronica Yeniden Yapımı Hakkında İpuçları Veriyor
Although Capcom hasn’t confirmed it yet, according to various reports, the remake of Resident Evil Code: Veronica is expected to be the next big franchise reveal. Reliable gaming insider Dusk Golem previously revealed the game will be announced this year and is set to launch in 2027, and recently he confirmed Kazunori Kadoi and Yasuhiro Anpo, who previously worked as directors of Resident Evil 2: Remake and Resident Evil 4: Remake, will serve as the remake’s directors.
While the fans are still waiting for Capcom’s official announcement, some of the Resident Evil actors have started to add fuel to the fire about Resident Evil Code: Veronica Remake. For instance, Stephanie Panisello, the voice of Claire Redfield, who is one of two main characters in Code Veronica, has revealed she would love to see the remake of the game, as well as return to the role of Claire. You can check out the highlight from her interview with BTVAbhiJha below:
"I agree, like, it needs a remake! I will not deny this. I have no say in this, though. Not only that, but I don’t get to say if there’s a Code Veronica. I don’t get to say if I get to play her if there’s a Code Veronica. Now what I will say is I love that people want more Claire. I love that people want more of me as Claire. And if I have an opportunity, then I will jump on it. But then I would be thinking about "What would I do differently from the original?" Because not everything translates the same"
At the same time, Craig Burnatowski, the voice actor of Albert Wesker, one of the villains in Resident Evil Code: Veronica, has responded to Capcom’s recent post on X social media and teases his involvement in a “secret game for a secret company,” referencing Resident Evil 4.
“In 2022 I auditioned for a secret game for a secret company. I had no idea what I was walking into at the time, and I’m so grateful to be a part of this epic franchise!
Soon the sun will set on the age of man”
Albert Wesker has said the phrase “soon the sun will set on the age of man” in the DLC to Resident Evil 4, Separate Ways, and it could be such an unusual teaser from Burnatowski that he will return to voice the iconic villain in the upcoming remake of Resident Evil Code: Veronica.
For now, Capcom hasn’t revealed anything about the remake of the 2000s Resident Evil title, and the studio is reportedly working on multiple franchise installments —including confirmed story expansion for Resident Evil Requiem, Resident Evil 10, and more.
