Metro yazarı Metro 2039'u övdü ve "Bir Deneyim" olarak nitelendirdi.

Announced last week by 4A Games, the new Metro video game titled Metro 2039 has already earned praise from players for returning to the franchise's roots, realistic graphics, and intriguing storyline. Moreover, it also gets praise from Metro books author.

As we know, Dmitry Glukhovsky, the author of multiple Metro novels, who is also working as one of the writers of Metro 2039 game, has previously revealed that the upcoming title will be the darkest one in the whole game series. In his latest post on X, he also left an intriguing message, as he revealed that Metro 2039 should be called “an experience”, following up on his previous post about “depicting reality”, as you can check out below:

“I don’t think Metro 2039 should be called a game. It should be called an experience.

At dark times, at times of war, stories need to mirror the reality, to register it - so that the lessons of these times are never forgotten. Metro 2039 is a such a mirror. But, as expected of mirrors, you will see your own reflection when you look at it. Who are you?”

Metro 2039 is taking place in 2039's moscow, after the events of Metro Exodus and returning to the franchise's roots, focusing on gameplay in enclosed spaces, including tunnels and catacombs. The game will feature a brand-new playable character called Stranger, who fights against an authoritarian neo-Nazi movement called the Novoreich, led by their Fuhrer—the legendary Spartan, Hunter.

Metro 2039 is set to release this winter on PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5.
