Supercell is preparing to roll out another Clash of Clans update in April 2026, and it’s shaping up to be a meaningful one. With a combination of officially confirmed features and early leaks circulating, players already have a good idea of what to expect ahead of its release.

Ranked Mode Overhaul

One of the key confirmed changes is a rework of Ranked Mode, continuing improvements introduced earlier this year. After addressing issues like progression balance and player fatigue in January, this update takes things a step further.

The biggest change is the restructuring of Legend League into three distinct tiers:

• Legend I
• Legend II
• Legend III

This adjustment aims to improve matchmaking by grouping players based on skill level, rather than placing everyone in a single overcrowded tier. Despite the changes, rewards remain unchanged, ensuring players don’t lose out on loot. However, progression now feels more structured and balanced.

Outside of Legend League, the overall system is becoming more player-friendly. Higher leagues will require fewer battles, and inactivity penalties are being relaxed. Players can now remain inactive for up to four weeks without being demoted, and any rank drops afterward will happen gradually.

New Dragon Duke Equipment

Following the introduction of the Dragon Duke, new hero equipment may soon be added. One rumored addition is Electro Fangs, which is expected to feature chain-style damage similar to Electro Dragons—though likely at a reduced power level.

New Levels for Troops, Buildings, and Spells

The update is also expected to introduce new upgrade levels across several categories, primarily targeting higher Town Hall levels (though this has not been officially confirmed yet).
