Kingdom Come: Deliverance filminde rol alan oyuncu, söylentilere konu olan Yüzüklerin Efendisi oyununda Aragorn'u canlandırmak istiyor.

There have been rumors that Warhorse Studios, developers of Kingdom Come game series, might be working on a new RPG based on the Lord of the Rings universe. Although this information is not confirmed and is merely speculation, a lot of fans would love to see this, and not only them but game actors too.

At the recent BAFTA Gaming Awards 2026, Tom McKay, the voice actor of Henry from Kingdom Come: Deliverance and Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, was asked by Radio Times Gaming, which Lord of the Rings character he would like to play, and his answer came quickly—it was Aragorn. “Definitely, an Aragorn vibe would be great. But there are so many. And actually, if I were to do it—and I'm flattered to think that anyone would want me to do it—I'd probably nudge it away from the Henry vibes a little bit. I quite like playing a broad palette of characters.”

Not only Warhorse Studios but also Crystal Dynamics, the developers of Tomb Raider gaming franchise, might be working on a AAA Lord of the Rings title, which was reported last month by Insider Gaming. Currently, the studio is busy with two new Tomb Raider games, announced at The Game Awards 2025—Tomb Raider: Catalyst, the sequel to 2008’s Tomb Raider: Underworld, and Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis, the remake of the original 1996 video game.

Considering the experience of Warhorse Studios in making RPG projects, the upcoming Lord of the Rings action RPG looks more promising, but there is a probability that we actually might get two different games based on LoTR franchise —from them and from Crystal Dynamics as well. However, at this point neither studio revealed their plans on that prospect.
