Kraken Express, Windrose'un şimdiden 2 milyon kopya sattığını doğruladı.

New pirate simulator, Windrose, developed by Kraken Express, became one of the biggest hits released last month. The game was released only in Steam Early Access, yet it sold 1 million copies in less than a week, which is an exceptional result. A month after its release, the game reached another milestone.

On his X social media, the developers confirmed that Windrose has now sold 2 million copies on Steam. This is a truly remarkable achievement for the studio, considering it’s a new IP and Kraken Express is a small team of developers. But this will not prevent them from continuing to support the game throughout the year.

At the end of last month, analysts estimated that Windrose brought developers approximately $30 million in just 10 days since the game's early access release, and it seems that this figure has increased significantly now. Kraken Express also confirmed that the game will not receive any content updates in the next 6 months, as the studio is prioritizing fixing bugs in the game before releasing any updates.
