Kadokawa, Switch 2 için 2026 yılında çıkacak oyunları doğruladı: The Duskbloods ve Elden Ring.

Kadokawa has reaffirmed that The Duskbloods and Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition will both release on Switch 2 by the end of 2026. The publisher listed both titles in its latest financial report as "slated for a 2026 release for Switch 2", ending months of silence about either game.

FromSoftware has said nothing about The Duskbloods since announcing the Switch 2 exclusive last April. The game supports up to eight players competing for "supremacy among themselves and against challenging foes". Its reveal trailer mixed jetpacks, dinosaurs and creepy moons, and no further gameplay footage has surfaced since.

Reddit discussion following the Kadokawa update is split. User TrollMcGoal wrote he was "still debating if Duskbloods is worth getting a Switch 2 for". MASHED_POTATOES_MF cited his time with Elden Ring Nightreign as the reason for his "full confidence will be peak".

Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition was originally scheduled for late 2025. After reports surfaced that the game ran poorly on Nintendo's hardware, FromSoftware pushed it into 2026 for performance work and apologised, saying it was "wholeheartedly toward release". The Switch 2 build bundles the base game with the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC and adds two new classes for players setting off for the Lands Between.

A separate 4chan post claims FromSoftware is also developing Cerulean Onslaught, a dark-action pirate game RPG. The leak describes a setting inside the wreck of an island-sized ship that has collided with an island, rather than an open world. The post says the project will be unveiled at Summer Game Fest, which runs from 5 to 8 June, and is targeted for an August release. FromSoftware has not commented, so the report should be treated as a rumor.

I think the Opening Showcase on 5th June at 9pm UK time is the obvious window for any firm release dates, particularly for The Duskbloods, where FromSoftware has yet to show gameplay beyond the reveal trailer.

Aoife Wilson's 2022 Elden Ring review for Eurogamer called the game "grandiose", "mysterious," and "a touch more welcoming" than FromSoftware's earlier titles. I know that recommendation still holds for anyone planning to pick it up on Switch 2 for the first time.
