Take-Two CEO'su Strauss Zelnick, GTA 6'nın "Daha Önce Hiç Yapılmamış Bir Oyun" Olacağını Açıkladı

Not much is officially known about GTA 6, which is set to launch this November on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. However, this could change soon, as the official marketing campaign is expected to kick off this month, with Rockstar Games likely to reveal new details about their upcoming project. Fans are confident, though, that Grand Theft Auto VI will be one of the biggest—if not the most expansive—video games ever made.

The same opinion is shared by Strauss Zelnick, the CEO of Take-Two Interactive, the parent company of Rockstar Games. In a recent brief interview for TikTok's The School of Hard Knocks, he stated that GTA 6 is a game unlike any other previously made, which is exactly why it has taken so long to develop, as you can check out below:

“The team at Rockstar really does seek to do something that’s never been done before. That’s really hard and it takes a long time.”

The November release of GTA 6 also forced many game studios to launch their titles likely earlier than originally planned. The most striking example is the busy release schedule in September 2026, where within just 10 days, games like Marvel’s Wolverine, Control Resonant, Silent Hill: Townfall, and Onimusha: Way of the Sword are all set to debut. Developers at Asobo Studio, who are working on Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy, even likened GTA 6 to an ogre that scared off all the other gaming divisions.
