Marvel'ın Wolverine karakteriyle ilgili yeni ekran görüntüleri, detaylar ve bir ön bölüm çizgi romanının duyurusu yayınlandı.
Ahead of Insomniac Games' appearance at San Diego Comic-Con— just a few hours away now —where the studio is to reveal new info on Marvel's Wolverine, one of this autumn's most anticipated games. Recently, new information about the project has been known, including fresh details, new screenshots, and the announcement of a Marvel's Wolverine prequel comic written by one of the developers.
Entertainment Weekly shared two new screenshots from Marvel's Wolverine and spoke with Liam McIntyre, who plays Logan. In the interview, McIntyre revealed he prepped for the role by watching videos of rabid dogs to get into character. He also described his version of Logan as "terrifying," pulling inspiration from various variants of the hero, and thanked the developers' team for their guidance through the motion capture process. According to Walt Williams, narrative director of Marvel’s Wolverine, “Liam delivered one of the most raw and honest performances I’ve ever seen in this medium.” You can check out the new Logan screenshots below:

Insomniac Games also announced a prequel comic for Marvel's Wolverine, written by Walt Williams himself. The comic reveals Logan was once part of Team X but left before the events of the game. Circumstances eventually pull him back in by teaming up with other mutants like Sabretooth, Mystique, and Sunfire. The story follows the team to Bolivar Trask's warehouse, hunting down what's believed to be a secret weapon—and as is often the case with Marvel comics, it ends on an unexpected twist. The comic is available to read now, free, in digital format.
LIVE NOW! Get up to speed on the narrative events leading up to Marvel's Wolverine's main story with our prequel comic, written by Insomniac Games' Narrative Director Walt Williams!
Speaking of Bolivar Trask, it was previously reported that he will be the main villain in Marvel's Wolverine, and it seems that the prequel comic only confirms this fact. Unlike Marvel's Spider-Man franchise, Insomniac Games' new title won't feature an open world. Instead, players can look forward to linear, tightly structured levels—similar to God of War or Tomb Raider games. The combat will also be more brutal and noticeably bloodier.
Marvel’s Wolverine will release on September 15 exclusively for PlayStation 5.
