Capcom, Pragmata için DLC'yi Gamescom 2026'da duyurabilir

Gamescom 2026 is set to open its doors this week to everyone who's made the trip to Germany, with Opening Night Live, the show's traditional kickoff hosted by Geoff Keighley, just hours away. Fans can expect plenty of announcements and updates on already-confirmed games, and Capcom could be one of the show's bigger surprises.

ResetEra users have noticed Pragmata, Capcom's new IP released this April, has shown up on the Gamescom lineup, alongside Dragon's Dogma II: Dark Arisen, Mega Man: Dual Override, Onimusha: Way of the Sword, and Street Fighter 6. Visitors will also get a chance to meet the game's voice actors, which some fans have read as a sign the studio might have a bigger announcement coming, possibly a story DLC or even confirmation of a sequel, something the developers have hinted at more than once already. That's still just speculation for now, but Pragmata's presence on Capcom's lineup doesn't feel entirely routine.

Last month, Capcom shared updated sales figures for Pragmata, confirming the new IP had reached 2.5 million copies sold across all platforms. Shortly after, Corporate Officer Yoshikazu Shimauchi claimed the game's sales had exceeded internal expectations, adding that the odds of a sequel had gone up and that Pragmata could grow into a full franchise. Game director Yonghee Cho has previously stated he's interested in making another entry, though he noted the final call rests entirely with Capcom.

Gamescom 2026 will take place from August 26 to August 30 in Cologne, Germany. Opening Night Live 2026 takes place on Tuesday, August 25 at 8:00 PM CEST/ 2:00 PM EDT/ 11:00 AM PDT, preceded by a pre-show starting 30 minutes prior.
