Bloons Monkey Tales: Ninja Kiwi, Bloons TD 6'yı bir diziye dönüştürüyor.

Ninja Kiwi has turned Bloons TD 6 into a 3D animated series called Bloons Monkey Tales, with new episodes landing every Saturday on the studio’s own channels.

The show follows a group of monkeys defending their village from the Bloons, the balloons that have played the enemy since the first game. Each episode arrives with shorts that fill in more of the monkeys’ adventures, the voice cast includes people who worked on the games, and two Bloons YouTubers turn up in cameo roles. The shorts sit alongside the main episodes rather than replacing them. Ninja Kiwi has not said how many episodes it made.

Mobile studios have been pushing into other media for years now. Angry Birds built a film franchise out of a physics puzzler, Clash of Clans reached the tabletop through a licensed board game that funded on Kickstarter, and Ninja Kiwi is now testing animation with no partner attached to the project. Each of those earlier moves had somebody else carrying the cost, a film studio, a board game publisher or a streaming service.

Episodes go live on YouTube every Saturday, and the same run is going out on Facebook and other platforms. There is no paywall and no streaming service sitting in the middle. An episode shows up in the same feed where the game’s trailers go, which means the audience for it is the audience Ninja Kiwi already had. Weekly scheduling on a Saturday is the oldest trick in children’s television, and copying it costs nothing.

Ninja Kiwi’s TikTok account is carrying the series as well. A vertical cut reaches people who would never search for a Bloons show on their own, and the studio pays nothing extra to put it there. Facebook carries the series too, which is less glamorous and reaches the older household audience that still installs mobile games. Distribution like this costs a fraction of what a licensing deal takes to set up, and nobody has to approve a slate.

Pocket Gamer framed Bloons Monkey Tales as a proof of concept, which reads about right. It is not The Angry Birds Movie and it is not the Clash of Clans series that went to Netflix. The budget is smaller, the stakes are smaller, and the studio keeps every decision in house. Proof of concept also means something measurable inside a week, since view counts on an owned channel come back immediately and more episodes can be ordered without renegotiating anything.

I am not the Bloons audience, and the series is not trying to convert me. It exists to keep the people who already play the game looking at the brand on days they are not opening it, which is a cheaper job than winning anyone new.

I think the number that matters here is cost. A weekly 3D series published on channels a studio already runs sits far below what a streaming order has to justify, and it can be wound down quietly if the views never arrive.

Netflix ordered an animated Clash of Clans series in May 2025, announced with a short teaser and a single image. Supercell had posted a job for a senior film and TV development executive about a month before that, which made the plan easy to read in hindsight. No timeframe, production company or animator came with the order. The Barbarian in that teaser looked heavier and grimmer than anything in the game’s own art, and one write-up at the time read it as a sign of an action-driven show rather than a comedy. The project was still being described as planned this week.

Supercell gave away a free Power Pancake at the end of the Barbarian’s Odyssey season, a Magic Snack that pushes troops and Siege Machines to maximum level for three Home Village battles. Promotions like that run through QR codes on the game’s official accounts, and they cost Supercell little beyond the attention it already holds.

Community manager Fernando Ferri used a Judo Sloth interview to tease Town Hall 19, saying the update will make older troops worth running again and that the long-delayed Elephant Rider is finished and due this year. A television series answers none of those requests. It sells the characters to people who have never built a base, which is the part a patch cannot do.

Ninja Kiwi has not committed to a run length for Bloons Monkey Tales, which is the honest read on how experimental the project is. A Saturday slot that still holds next summer would tell me more about the studio’s plans than any announcement will.
