One fan, michsuzu, captured the moment with a post on X, writing, "When the world ends, people just dance," encapsulating the spirit of the event. Titania Gaming also caught the final 10 minutes from a different angle, showing the growing crowd as they danced their way into the game's last moments.

While Blue Protocol may not have had the longest lifespan – launching in Japan in 2023 and never seeing a global release – the impact it had on its community was undeniable. Like previous MMO closures, such as Asheron's Call in 2017 and Wildstar in 2018, the last moments were filled with camaraderie and nostalgia, as players celebrated the friendships and memories made during their time in the game. Shygalgaming shared their own footage of the event, adding to the collection of heartfelt goodbyes.
