Ubisoft'un İleriye Yönelik Sunumu Bu Yılın Haziran Ayında Planlanmıyor

To say that things are not going well for Ubisoft, one of the most popular game studios, particularly in 2026, is an understatement. Following the restructuring announced earlier this year, the company canceled several upcoming projects, including the remake of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, and many divisions saw a significant reduction in staff.

All of these factors directly impact game development, frequently resulting in indefinite delays or outright cancellations. Nevertheless, it appears Ubisoft still has aces up its sleeve, as demonstrated by last month’s reveal of Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced, a remake of the series' fourth installment. Furthermore, reports indicate the studio is actively developing the seventh installment of Far Cry— a teaser for which allegedly surfaced recently —alongside numerous other projects, including The Division 3, Splinter Cell remake, and others.

A couple of years ago, Ubisoft organized a special presentation, Ubisoft Forward, dedicated to their future projects. The last such event was held in 2024, focusing primarily on titles such as Star Wars Outlaws, Assassin's Creed Shadows, XDefiant, Skull & Bones, and many others. Unfortunately, according to insider xj0nathan, the studio has no plans to hold another Ubisoft Forward this year, as they reportedly have nothing to showcase beyond Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced.

“According to one of my sources at Ubisoft, there shouldn't be a Ubisoft Forward event next month because they don't have any major games planned for this year except for Black Flag.

Most of their projects have been put on hold or rebooted, and they have absolutely nothing to show at the moment.”

This further confirms the aforementioned sentiment that Ubisoft is struggling, and Tom Henderson recently stated that Far Cry 7 is experiencing development hell, making an imminent official announcement uncertain. It is also known that the studio is currently working on at least two more Assassin's Creed games: Codename Hexe and Codename Invictus.

  • Codename Hexe—set in the 16th-century Holy Roman Empire, reportedly featuring new protagonist Anika, who is the descendant of Claudia Auditore, Ezio’s sister. By the way, an iconic Assassin’s Creed character is also set to appear in the game. The release date is rumored to be summer 2027.
  • Codename Invictus—a multiplayer Assassin’s Creed title developed by the same team who worked on For Honor. Recently, the first image was leaked, as well as the details revealed by Tom Henderson that Invictus is a knockout-round-based title where familiar characters from the game series fight with each other in different areas from the games’ lore. The release date is still unknown.

As for Black Flag Resynced, rumor has it that the review embargo for the upcoming remake lifts as early as next week, May 21. The release will take place on July 9 on PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5.
