AMD, Radeon sorunlarının ardından The Witcher 3 Remastered için sürücü yayınladı.

AMD has released a new version of its graphics driver, Adrenalin 26.9.2, adding official support for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Complete Edition 10th Anniversary Patch. The update was released on September 29, the same day the remastered version of The Witcher 3 launched.

The new driver is particularly important for Radeon users. Shortly after the updated version of The Witcher 3 launched, players began reporting serious graphical issues when using the previous Adrenalin 26.9.1 driver.

The Witcher 3 Remastered Faced Issues on AMD GPUs

After the remaster launched, AMD Radeon users encountered various visual problems. In some cases, vegetation completely disappeared from the game, certain objects failed to load, and black artifacts appeared on the screen.

Players also reported distorted vegetation colors and flickering water surfaces. The problems affected different Radeon models, including modern RX 9000-series graphics cards.

The issue was particularly notable because it appeared right at launch. Reviews of the remaster were conducted using a special pre-release AMD driver, while regular users still had access to version 26.9.1 when the game launched. TechSpot noted that the public driver could make the game effectively unplayable due to numerous graphical glitches.

AMD Releases Adrenalin 26.9.2

AMD published Adrenalin 26.9.2 on September 29. In its official release notes, the company lists The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Complete Edition 10th Anniversary Patch among the games receiving support with the new driver.

Alongside The Witcher 3 Remastered, the driver adds support for Minecraft Dungeons II, early access to the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 campaign, Gears of War: E-Day, CONTROL Resonant, and Valor Mortis.

AMD also fixed several other issues. These include driver crashes in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth on Radeon RX 7000 graphics cards, problems in War Thunder on RX 6000 GPUs, and crashes in HITMAN World of Assassination on RX 9000-series graphics cards.

Adrenalin 26.9.2 is listed as an Optional driver rather than a Recommended release. According to AMD's official website, the driver is available for Windows 10 and Windows 11 and was released on September 29, 2026.

New Driver Fixes Graphical Issues

After installing Adrenalin 26.9.2, Radeon users began reporting that the main visual problems in The Witcher 3 Remastered had disappeared. In particular, players noted that vegetation was rendered correctly again and previously missing objects returned to the game world.

However, the new driver does not necessarily eliminate every technical issue. Some players continue to report crashes, performance problems, and individual graphical glitches, meaning that certain issues may require further updates from AMD or CD Projekt RED.

Radeon owners planning to play The Witcher 3 Remastered should therefore install Adrenalin 26.9.2 before launching the game. This is the first driver to officially support the updated version of CD Projekt RED's RPG.

The remaster has generated significant interest among players. Shortly after its release, The Witcher 3 surpassed its previous all-time Steam concurrent player record, reaching more than 120,000 players. At the same time, technical problems on AMD hardware became one of the main topics discussed by the community.
