Pearl Abyss, Crimson Desert için yeni bir büyük yama yayınladı.

Pearl Abyss, the developers of the recently released RPG Crimson Desert, have announced the game is receiving another major update since last week’s launch. It is designed to significantly address issues related to the controls and combat system and also adds some new content. This is the second update yet for the game—the latest, Patch Notes Version 1.00.03, was released on March 23.

The update titled Patch Notes Version 1.01.00, as mentioned on Crimson Desert official website, is available across all platforms: PC (Steam and Epic Games Store), Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and Mac. Perhaps the biggest introduction in this patch is 5 new mounts that can be obtained and summoned after completing certain conditions. These 5 mounts are:

• White Bear (legendary animal);
• Silver Fang (legendary animal);
• Snowwhite Deer (legendary animal);
• Rock Tusk Warthog (boss mount);
• Icicle Edge Alpine Ibex (boss mount);

• Added 5 new mounts that can be obtained and summoned after completing certain conditions;
• Added chests containing various materials throughout Pywel;
• Added the "Refinement Token" item. With this item, equipment can be tempered up to Stage 4 without consuming any additional materials. Refinement Tokens can be obtained from certain main and faction quests;
• Added a "Make Now" function which allows food and items to be cooked/crafted immediately in the Cooking/Crafting menu once a recipe is selected, without having to separately select ingredients;
• Fixed an issue where pets in certain situations were unable to loot during combat;
• Additional inventory expansion items obtained after reaching the maximum inventory expansion limit (240 slots) will now be granted as boxes containing crafting materials and other items;
• Improved movement controls for both the player character and horse;
• Improved the usability of Flight;
• Added weak point indicator effects for each element;
• Added information in the Skills menu showing stat increases for the next skill level;
• Improved rendering stability and visual quality in low-resolution environments or when upscaling is enabled;
• Loading times have been reduced when traveling via Abyss Traces and when respawning after death;
• Fixed several stabilities, performance optimization, and crash issues across PC, console, and Mac;
• Fixed various localization errors and improved localization quality (game advice, etc.) across all languages;

Despite previous negative comments from players, Pearl Abyss is continuing to work on fixing issues with Crimson Desert, and this patch is definitely one of many that aim to correct multiple errors, specifically related to gameplay. Recently, the CEO of Pearl Abyss, Heo Jin-young, has addressed the criticism of Crimson Desert story, which is confirmed to have been rewritten during the game’s development. Although he didn’t mention anything about narrative change, he revealed that the studio wanted to focus on gameplay rather than storyline.
