GTA 6 fans are excited about any potential news regarding the game, especially if it is not just information taken out of thin air but that which is confirmed by reliable sources. It looks like today is just such a case.

Some YouTubers, streamers, as well as users of the ResetEra and GTAForums forums, discovered that they started receiving a newsletter from the American retailer Best Buy stating that pre-orders for GTA 6 will start next week, from May 18 to 21. Earlier this week, there was already a leak from, allegedly, another representative of the giant retail store in the UK, that the price of GTA 6 will be $70, and pre-orders will become available as early as Tuesday, May 12 - which turned out to be fake.

Meanwhile, Insider Gaming released a new report and confirmed that the latest Best Buy mailing is real, which means that pre-orders for GTA 6 could indeed be available as early as May 18. This was also confirmed by reliable gaming insider Tom Henderson, who has repeatedly published truthful information long before it became public. There is still no official confirmation from Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive.

Since the GTA 6 marketing campaign is starting this summer, and the new Take-Two earnings call will take place on May 21, the game already needs to gain momentum, and open pre-orders, and, accordingly, the price reveal would be a great start. Of course, fans hope that along with this, Rockstar Games will show a new Grand Theft Auto trailer, which they may have recently added to their website.
